Be kind to yourself

I saw this from the newspaper and i found it's useful and good to share around. It's titled "10 things to remember when your feelings have been trampled on" by the writer-Donna Fargo. Please read patiently and think!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  1. Whether it's a family member, somebody at work, or your best friend who's hurt you badly, put yourself in their shoes and treat them the way you would want to be treated, even if they don't deserve it.
  2. If you've heard something you didn't want to hear, remember it might not be 100% true. So lighten up. If it's not urgent, put off thinking about it for a couple of days. Forgive the person who wronged you; don't forget, you're doing this for yourself, too. Prove to yourself that you can practice what you believe. Try to be as understanding of others as you would want them to be of you.
  3. There will always be losers and winners. Act according to how you want to feel about yourself when all is said and done. Don't judge what others do if you don't want them to judge you.
  4. Remember, what other people do is their responsibility. Don't let them cause you to carry a grudge and let their actions weigh you down. They are not responsible for your actions, no matter what they do. You are.
  5. I someone has said something untrue about you or done something intentionally to hurt you, wish good things for that person - even if you don't feel like it. Ask for them what you desire for yourself, and it will draw those things to you.
  6. If you've made a mistake or disappointed yourself or others, apologise quickly and earnestly, that's all you can do. Let your remorse teach you how to have compassion for others when they make mistakes. Nobody's perfect, even though we try to be. If someone can't accept your apology, that's okay, too. Just do the right thing and go on.
  7. Talk less and listen more; you could learn something about others and about yourself. If you feel like yelling, go outside and throw rocks on the cement instead. Take a walk or, better yet, sing... it will put a melody back in your life.
  8. If you think someone is making fun of you or someone you love, disarm them, not with your fist, but with your best smile. Give them something they don't know how to give. Speak to them; be hold. Ask that they be blessed and you'll be blessed, too. Forgiveness is a powerful thing; it will help your body and soul. Don't let anyone cause you to act they way they've acted toward you, and remember that they have a right to do whatever they choose also.
  9. Don't hide your hurts and pains and feelings inside where they will harden your heart. Use common sense and understanding to process them. Don't react just from your feelings; respond with maturity rather than childish habit. You won't regret it.
  10. Get in touch with the person you want to be and become that. Listen to your heart... you can find the answer there to every question you have. Remember, no matter how you're treated, just treat others the way you would want to be treated when your feelings are getting trampled on.
At first, I feel it's kinda kind to your enemy or someone you dislike and a simple-minded thinking in this society nowadays. However, after thinking a while, it's actually Karma. It's rather you want a friends add on into your list or a enemy instead. Don't be cruel to yourself. I have been practicing this and why not you?! Be happy...
Must try at Sibu
It's my first time to visit Sibu, a small city at east part of Sarawak. I heard before that Sibu has many nice food cause Foo-chow people is good in cooking. After the day time occassion, my colleagues has planned a special dinner for me. It's located at Jalan Pahlawan, everyone in Sibu knows about it and ever night is fulled of hungry fellas.
Hong Fu Seafood Restaurant
The special dish is very non-halal.
'Jar-Zhu-Shau' (Deep fried trotter)
It's crispy in outer layer and tender of its meat. It's served with a sweet and sour sauce.
Besides, Sibu is famous for seafood, and Sarawak has good spice-black pepper.
Black pepper crab
We have a nice dinner. I'm fulled and feels abit guilty. It's very oily food that i shouldn't take much. Wonder need to exercise how long to cover it. So, we decides to walk back to our hotel. At last, we took a cab :@
If you plan to come Sibu, make sure you book the hotel. If not...
The world is in square...
Since it's a raya month, my company had orgarnised a lunch for our clients at Sibu. My superior brought me there to help out. Besides, i will have a chance to witness for the what i have done in work all the while applies here. I'm so happy though it's only a short visit.
The lunch was great. Of cause i have a tour in my client's office. They are implementing a 5S policy. Everything is so so organise. What capture my eyes is this...And this...
Funny hor?! And this...It's called 'pasu bunga', can you hear me?
Every object is labelled and placed in a square box. Means you can not move it out of the box. Don't ever think about it! My superior told me that even some higher management staff applies this on their table. Imagine you got a working desk. Everything on the table (stationeries, calculator, document tray, calendar, etc) are put in boxes tapped by colour tape. You will need to put back in place after using it. Wah... tensionnya... However, i didn't have a chance to enter the person's room that day.
I can't deny it's a good system that you labelled and placed all in a desired box, but not for anything. It's very convenient for spare parts rack or safety equipements. So that, all have to put it back after use and the latter would not miss too. Especially in emergency, some people may get lost in sudden.
Now you know... the world is actually can be in square...
